LCHS Soccer Celebrates Senior Night

The night of September 14 at Lansing Catholic High School was very special for the boys soccer team and their families, as they celebrated their senior night against Ionia.
This senior class has grown over the four years they have played as they have won three league championships and a district championship during their time here at Lansing Catholic.
“I remember sophomore year all my friends having their senior night and it didn’t really hit me until I realized it was my turn,” said senior Wes Franco.
The game was a success that night, as the team beat Ionia 4-2. But for many members of the team, true success comes later in the season at the match against Williamston.
“Our goal is to beat Willy and kind of get revenge on them for beating us the past couple of years, and winning a district title,” Franco said.
As the season goes along the seniors and their families will forever cherish the memories that were created by playing boys varsity soccer.
